I love the guided meditation, I used it throughout the week. I find that guided meditations are much easier to use instead of just calm soft sounds. The guided meditations help me to keep my mind from wandering to the mundane day to day tasks and relax and clear my mind. I found it very calming and nice.
I have never done any type of meditation before this exercise and it really has changed my views. I didn't think this type of stuff could work but I was proven wrong. The Journey on Relaxation technique helped me to complete my work and get over a headache. I'm so glad I tried it.
ReplyDeleteI am exactly opposite. I need to go outside myself when meditating and focus on the healing of nature. If I can not be outside because of the weather I meditate near the open window regardless if it is freezing, storming or 100 degrees! I need to hear the calls of the wild!
ReplyDeleteCharity,
ReplyDeleteI have been doing meditational practices for many years; both as a practioner, and as a guide. I find it funny that I can meditate better on my own, than to be guided, yet I love to lead folks in theirs! I like to do a "Tree of Life" meditaion for others, where I have them imagine that they are a huge tree, with roots waaay down in the ground, and branches waaay up in the sky. I have had a lot of folks tell me that they liked that meditation, because we imagine the energy flowing all the way through the body and back into the Earth. I am glad you found this meditation relaxing, keep it up!
